Strollers must be left at the bar during the nature walk portion of the activity.

Closed-toe shoes with good treads are recommended. Hats are also a great idea. Lightweight, athletic attire is recommended while weather is warm. Jackets may be needed as temps decrease into the late fall.

Outside beverages allowed?

With the exception of water, we do not allow outside beverages in our space. Beverage purchases with the bar are what allow us to support these activities. In addition to beer, wine and cider, we also serve iced coffee, tea, lemonade, sodas, juice and mocktails.

Outside food allowed?

You may bring in outside food, however we do have snacks and small bites available for purchase at the bar. Guest food trucks will typically open on Friday evening.

From September to December, the Shady Llama will host morning FriDates AND after school FriDates for all ages.

The morning event will incorporate a short hike along our nature trail with a different themed activity each week. This is a great way to start the morning for our preschool and homeschool friends!

These events are a free for customers of the Shady Llama. We will have a limited number of walk-in spots available. Reservations are recommended to save your spot.We look forward to sharing our outdoor space with your family on Fridays this fall!
