Saturday’s events feature a walking tour led by preservation advocate Hallie Coreil, with a picnic lunch at the storied Magnolia Ridge Plantation (ca. 1790/1832), followed by cocktails and dinner at the home of preservationist Beth James.
Sunday offers a tour of Serenity (ca. 1790) and a porch tour of mid-19th-century homes, concluding with a Dutch treat lunch at the historic Steamboat Warehouse Restaurant (ca. 1829).
Along the way, participants will hear from architect Stephen Ortego, AIA, and local leaders on the vital work of preservation and adaptive reuse in revitalizing Washington’s heritage.
