Fall Festival - Experience Progressive Christianity

Downtown Des Moines has officially welcomed back Downtown Disciples - a progressive Christian community rooted here since 2015! We’ve just moved near the baseball stadium at 525 SW 5th Street, Suite D, and we’re celebrating with a Fall Festival - complete with a bounce house, games for kids and adults, a free cookout lunch, and an unapologetically progressive worship service that may just reframe what you think “church” can be.

You’re invited and you BELONG!From the very beginning, we’ve been LGBTQ+ affirming and we boldly proclaim that Black Lives Matter every time we gather—because it matters. Come experience a community of Christians centered on the teachings of Jesus, walking the way of justice and liberation, and working together to create heaven on earth.Parking is free and there is plenty of it!
