Celebrate the Fall Equinox on Marina Del Rey Beach with Libby Balsiger of Beach Yoga Life and Sound Healer Grace Oh.

This restorative yin yoga and sound bath session is designed to release tension, restore balance, and honor the changing season. Gentle yin poses help relax muscles and connective tissue, while a Reiki-infused sound bath promotes deep relaxation, mindfulness, and inner calm.

Perfect for all levels, this beach yoga experience invites you to connect with yourself, the natural rhythm of the ocean, and the shifting energies of the equinox, leaving you feeling centered and rejuvenated.

Step onto the sand, breathe with the waves, and embrace renewal and transformation through yoga and sound healing.

Frequently asked questions

What is a Sound Bath?

A sound bath is a meditative experience where you are immersed in healing sounds from various instruments like crystal singing bowls, bells, and chimes. These sounds, along with ocean waves, promote relaxation, reduce stress, and help restore balance to your body and mind.

Do I need any experience or preparation for the sound bath?

No prior experience is required. Just bring yourself, a comfortable blanket, eye mask or small towel, and an open mind. Wear comfortable clothing and make sure you're hydrated.

What should I expect during the session?

After unwinding the body with restorative yoga, you’ll lie down comfortably on your blanket with your eyes closed as the vibrations of sound waves wash over you. You may feel deeply relaxed, experience a sense of calm, or even encounter emotional or physical sensations. Each session is unique.

Is the sound bath safe for everyone?

Sound baths are generally safe for most people. However, if you are pregnant, have a heart condition, or are sensitive to sound or vibration, please consult with your doctor beforehand.

How long is the session?

The experience begins with restorative yoga led by Libby and transitions into a sound bath led by Grace for a total of 90 minutes. This includes time for settling in and a brief closing meditation.

Is Reiki included in the Sound Bath?

Yes! The session includes Reiki healing, which is energy work that complements the sounds to enhance relaxation and promote energetic healing.

What if I get uncomfortable during the session?

If at any point you feel uncomfortable or need to leave, you are welcome to adjust your position or exit the session quietly.
