WHAT IS BREATHWORK?
This type of breathwork consists of fast-paced, deep breathing to bring forth energy in the body that has long been pushed down or ignored but can unconsiously be effecting your day to day life in negative ways. The breath is a powerful tool to keep you connected to your physical body in order to release old systems of belief and energy that no longer serves us. It helps you quiet your mind, connect with your body and heart, release stuck energy and emotions, dissolve stress and anxiety, and experience deeper levels of spiritual connection. Through breathwork, old patterns can be revealed and broken to make room for new habits, relationships, and abundance. It is a loving and powerful process of self-healing.
HOW DOES A BREATHWORK SESSION WORK?
We set an intention and start the session with a short explanation of the technique and what to expect in your body and mind. You will then be guided through 25-30 minutes of powerful, fast-paced breathwork using CONSCIOUS CONNECTED BREATH while allowing for your own inner journey to unfold.
From the space we have just cleared, we then slow it down, we can now re-connect with your inner self and a space of Zen-like calm, you may have never known.
You will be guided through this class in its entirety. Beginners to experts, all are welcome.
CONTRAINDICATIONS (these are considered for your safety):
• Cardiovascular problems, including history of heart attacks
• High or abnormal blood pressure
• Personal or family history of aneurisms
• Glaucoma or retinal detachment
• Osteoporosis
• Recent surgery or physical injury
• Pregnancy
• History of seizures Epilepsy
• Bipolar depression, Panic attacks or any mental illness not adequately supported by professional care.
• Persons with asthma should bring their inhaler and consult with their primary care physician prior to the session
