The Wilfred J. Airey Library, in partnership with Women's Lean In Circle, is excited to announce the Read 2 Succeed book selection for Fall 2021: The How of Happiness: A New Approach to Getting the Life You Want by Sonja Lyubomirsky!

Sonja Lyubomirsky will be speaking at Norco College in the Center for Student Success Room 217 on November 4th, 2021 at 12:30pm. The event will be held simultaneously in-person and online via Zoom (Register for Online Attendance).

Sonja Lyubomirsky (A.B., summa cum laude, Harvard; PhD, social psychology, Stanford) is a Distinguished Professor and Vice Chair of Psychology at the University of California, Riverside. In The How of Happiness, she draws upon her own groundbreaking research with thousands of men and women to pioneer a detailed yet easy-to-follow plan to increase happiness in our day-to-day lives, in the short term and over the long term.

Students who stay for the entire event will be entered into a drawing for a $50 MasterCard gift card for the Norco College Bookstore, compliments of the Associated Students of Norco College (please provide your RCCD student email when registering). Those attending the in-person event will have the opportunity to have their own copy of the book signed by the author.

This event is only open to RCCD students and employees with a Cleared4 COVID-19 clearance. Passes will be verified at entry. Per RCCD Board Resolution No. 02-21/22 masks are required for this indoor event.
