Description

What Does it Take to Build Housing?

Session 3: Solutions for the Missing Middle - Co-Hosted with the Housing Leadership Council of San Mateo County!

Missing Middle Housing: It's a concept that everyone is talking about, but what does it really mean and how do we make it work in our communities?

We're thrilled to present a dynamic discussion with experts on Missing Middle housing solutions. We'll get beyond the buzzword and into the details of how cities can unleash the opportunities for ADUs, duplexes, triplexes, and more to provide a range of housing options for people of different income levels. We'll also explore the implications for zoning and urban planning, what role the State of California is playing, and how Bay Area cities are implementing best policy practices to make these housing options a reality.

Confirmed Panelists:

Framer: Xiomara Cisneros - Bay Area Council, Policy Director

Speaker: Shelly Masur - City of Redwood City, Councilmember

Speaker: Karen Parolek, Opticos Design, Principal and CFO

Lunch will be provided
