Are the adults leading the activity background checked?

Yes! The educators are screened, fingerprinted, and background checked.

Is this a University of Florida event or a University of North Florida event?

Both! The class is lead by University of Florida IFAS Extension faculty and staff and held on the campus of the University of North Florida in their butterfly garden.

What should my child bring with them?

Consider applying sunscreen before checking into the event. We will have water and snacks available.

What ages can participate?

This class is designed for ages 7-10.

Do I have to stay with my child?

No. You can drop them off or choose to go on a guided tour of the UNF Botanical Gardens. You are also welcome to stay if you prefer.
