Fair Game: Is it Unsafe? Trans Athletes and the Future of Sports

Join us -- Ellie Roscher, Dr. Anna Baeth, and Chris Mosier, the authors of FAIR GAME: TRANS ATHLETES AND THE FUTURE OF SPORTS -- for any of our six free webinars this fall and winter to increase compassion and accurate data in the conversation around trans athlete inclusion. We will address the major myths surrounding trans athletes, with current research and stories from trans athletes themselves, and offer accessible and timely action steps to take. Although the six webinars will interconnect, every webinar is designed to be freestanding, so come when you can.

In the fourth webinar, Chris, Anna, and Ellie will address safety in sport and why trans athletes are not the problem they are made out to be. What is more, focusing on them as the problem slows progress on making sports actually safer for all athletes. Trans athletes are not doing harm on the field or in the locker room, and perpetuating those assumptions leads to policy changes that harm all athletes. Each webinar will offer content, time to reflect, and action steps to take.
