About this event
As wildfires and other climate related natural disasters become more frequent and severe, how can Ouray County prepare and adapt to this new reality? This panel discussion will bring together key voices from local government, wildfire management, and state insurance policy to provide a comprehensive look at how our region, and specifically how Ouray County is addressing this growing threat of wildfires.
Following a brief film viewing about the Log Hill Mesa project, this panel will address the evolving landscape of wildfire-related insurance challenges in Colorado, strategic mitigation planning at the homeowner and community levels, and the role of local government in coordinating preparedness and response.
