Communities In Schools of Michigan Student Voice presents: "Facing Race: My Unfiltered Experience." Join 8th -12th grade students from across Michigan, of all different backgrounds, to share your story and experiences around race Wednesday, February 24 from 3:30 - 5 pm. Besides breakout room conversations, you will also hear from student panelists from Battle Creek to Detroit, as well as a special keynote address from guest speaker Lt. Governor Garlin Gilchrist. Gift cards will be awarded to the first two students to sign up in each city/region!
To participate, please join the Zoom link for the breakout rooms, the keynote address and panel discussion. The Zoom link will be sent to participants after they register.
