About this event

    What to Expect?

Marriage can be a garden where growth is nurtured so that we can live responsively and responsibly in society. Developing the skills of Face to Face intimacy and connection is the way to make this a reality.

If you're married, ask yourself two questions: Are both you and your spouse satisfied with the general quality of your marriage? Do you like the effects of your relationship on the development of your personal talents and strengths? If the answer is "No" from either of you to either question, then you should take some positive action to improve your marriage. The Face to Face marriage workshops and on-line enrichment groups have helped many couples who wanted more in and from their marriages.

In these groups, trained group facilitators will guide five couples throughout the 10 weekly on-line sessions. The team will offer structure for the groups, assist the members with healthy interaction, add personal insights, and provide encouragement. Twice a month, your group will meet to connect, watch, discuss pre-assigned materials.

These assignments will include information on topics such as communication, connection, intimacy, sexual fulfillment and marital life values. In these video presentations, group members will be given information to spark active discussion, gain understanding and create well needed community. After the video, your group will openly discuss the material and the exercise, then you will put it into practice.

This group will be capped at 5 couples and is a closed group. You need to start with the group in order to create an open atmosphere.

    Cost

This workshop is $49 for the entire 10 weeks.

A full refund will be given for cancellations more than 14 days before the group starts, 50% up to 7 days prior, and no refund within 7 days.

The intention for using social media for counselors is for marketing,

education, advocacy, thought leadership, and providing content in a

technologically changing field. We want to do this while making

clients aware of the risks and benefits of engagement on social media

where counselors are present. A therapeutic relationship is a

professional relationship and in today's technological climate, a

social media presence or following your therapist on social media is

not to be confused with a relationship outside of therapy. Ethical,

professional, and therapeutic boundaries must be followed and honored.

A counseling social media page is not psychotherapy, a replacement for

a therapeutic relationship, or substitute for mental health and

medical care. A social media presence as a counseling professional is

not seeking an endorsement, request, or rating from past or current

clients. No social media posts should be considered professional

advice. The information contained in posts is general information for

    educational purposes only.

Past and current clients risk breaching their privacy and

confidentiality by following, liking, re-posting, commenting, and

engaging on social media platforms with counselors. Remember

commenting and messaging between sessions is not a confidential or

encouraged means of communication. To ensure using technology,

chat rooms, and/or social media in a professional manner and maintain

appropriate professional boundaries, Mindful Counseling professionals and

staff do not engage in any "personal virtual relationships”.

Please consult your physician or mental health provider regarding

advice or support for your health and wellbeing. If you are suicidal, please call

your local 24-hour hotline or 911 or emergency services.
