Overview

Learn how to grow and sculpt with mycelium at SEAGER gallery

Workshop Overview:

In this introductory workshop we will learn the full spectrum of cultivating and designing with mycelium—from the basics of growth to creative fabrication.

We will be exploring a range of different methods for sculpting mycelium within the BIOPHILIA exhibition up at SEAGER gallery. Hands on exercises will include designing bespoke moulds for fungi, soft sculpting with fabric, modular 3D printed supports, and utilising waste streams.

Participants will leave with their own mycelium sculpture or starter to finish growing at home.
