Is the Boiler House accessible?

Yes, you can access the Boiler House through a flat entrance and the workshop takes place on the ground floor. Accessble toilets are also available.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

All materials and refreshments are provided but if you have any fabric that you are particularly keen to put into your wreath please bring it along and we can get it cut to be added into your creation.

I'm not very crafty, can I still do this workshop?

As long as you can make a knot you do not need any other skills. This workshop has been developed to be available to all regardless of your crafty skills.

I'd love to do this with my child, can I book a place for them too?

Children aged over 10 can join in the festive fun as long as they are accompanied by an adult (one adult per child).

· Join Vicki — a self-confessed “crafty gal” and lover of all things festive — for a cosy, creative afternoon of fabric wreath making at The Boiler House, The Hidden Gardens in Glasgow’s Southside.

· In this relaxed workshop, you’ll learn how to make a beautiful sustainable fabric wreath from upcycled and repurposed materials — a planet-friendly alternative to plastic or disposable decorations that you can customise to match your own style and colour scheme.

· No crafting experience? No problem! This is a simple, mindful make that anyone can enjoy — a perfect chance to slow down, get into the festive spirit, and leave with something you’ll treasure year after year.

· Materials provided (although you can bring your own pieces of fabric if you have anything that is sentimental that you would like to add into your own wreath) – just bring your festive spirit!

· Tea, coffee, and festive treats available as you craft your wreath.
