Do I keep the fabric that did not get swaped?

Of course, it's yours if you want it back you are more than welcome to take it. You can also leave it for us to collect and use for future events if you no longer want to hold onto it.

Do I have to swap one for one?

There are no hard rules here. You can come to browse, looking for some new material. You can also come to get rid of old material you have been hoarding. So, long answer no.

Is there any specific type of fabric that would be better?

Accepted Answer

There is no fabric preferred over another. We are looking for fabric that is clean, there are no visible stains or too many spots. Free from odor, with the exception of manufacturer dye smell. We know there is no getting around that.

Question 4

How should I bring my fabric?

Accepted Answer

Any fabric you bring should be a usable length, at least one yard. You can use masking tape or a label to write what the fabric is i.e. denim, wool, etc, and the length. Anything under one yard should be marked remnant in red ink.
