About this event

MAY 16th Grief in relationships & IFS

in rememberance of Ralph De La Rosa

Expressive Parts-work (IFS) is a way to get to know our system of parts and embodied Self-awareness that arises in relationships. The consultation will be focused on a relationship one participant is curious about and participants can choose if they would like to role-play or witness. This relationship could be with a partner, a spouse, mother/father, child and also could be with a client or a student.

Participants will:

Learn and attend to their own system of parts while in relationship with others

Learn embodied IFS with somatic, psychodramatic and contemplative arts

Explore ways to connect with your own system of parts & Self to support you both personally and professionally.

This meeting is specifically for anyone curious about Expressive Parts-Work (IFS)- particularly creatives, healthcare professionals, teachers and teaching artists curious about how use IFS experientially with somatics, role-play, and contemplative arts both for their own self-growh and to use in their creative work helping others. Getting to know our internal landscape of Self and parts with a group of other people allows for a powerful, safe, non-judgemental community that can heal our relational wounds. We are wounded in relationship, we must heal in relationship with ourselves, with others and in our relationship with the divine.

We will explore our own system of embodied parts & Self-energy through somatic IFS, authentic movement, role-play, expressive & contemplative arts.

This work is open to helping/somatic/creative professionals wanting to learn about Somatic Arts & IFS through embodied experience.

*Participants must have a basic, 101 understanding of IFS to attend.

*This meeting is donation-based to help accessibility. This meeting is open also practices being an affirming space for LGBTQ+, BIPOIC, allies and for those whom do not align with organizations connected to hate & harm.

Open group. Come connect, learn and play.
