Join us for a moderated discussion between artist Inbal Abergil and bereavement scholar Kathleen Gilbert. Abergil’s project What’s Left Behind is about the grief that military families experience after the death of a loved one in active duty. The event will consist of a short video screening, a moderated conversation, and an audience Q+A. The discussion will explore the ways that grief is expressed, and how to receive and support those experiencing loss.
Abergil is an Associate Professor of Photography at PACE University in New York, and her work on the cost of conflict has been widely exhibited. Gilbert is a professor emerita at Indiana University School of Public Health.
