Exploring the new Ofsted Framework and Parents
By Parent-Friendly Schools
Online event
Overview
Learn about the changes to Ofsted from the UK's largest charity for parents.
In November 2025, the new Ofsted Framework came into effect. Within this framework, there are 22 references to parents, including a requirement that leaders are responsible for evolving this close partnership.
Schools are now required to demonstrate how they acknowledge parents' expertise in their child. They will be expected to show how they have listened to parents' views and incorporated them into the school's improvement.
In this session, we explore the five keystones that underpin these changes and how you can evolve a practice that involves parents in school life.
