Identity shapes how we experience and navigate not only performance and goals, but how we navigate the world and our lives. Those identities that we attach ourselves to offer a framework for meaning and purpose in our lives, as our identities guide decision-making, and even determine the types of relationships we experience with others. Being aware of what we identify ourselves with influences not only our self-esteem and self-awareness, but ultimately dictates the direction through which we take in life. A stable identity acts as an internal compass, providing roots and direction even in chaotic times, which is a key factor in personal growth and fulfillment.
Our event on Identity will take place at one of Miami’s beautiful venues, where those in attendance will be engaged in meaningful conversation around the role that identity plays in how we see ourselves as well as what’s possible for our lives. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with one another as we build community, conversation, and personal growth.
