One of the first rhythms structures Layne Redmond taught at my first workshop was a rhythm structure accented in the groupings of 3 3 2.

Round 2 can be taken without Round 1, though you will be given the
OPENING Exploring Rhythms in Eight live recording.
Please do OPENING first for best integration preparation for Round 2

For a full experience it's recommend to do round 1 but is not necessary to be able
to join Round 2.

We will develop a relationship to this one structure.
The approach lays a foundation for different possibilities.

This is not a workshop to learn patterns but to
have an approach to discover patterns within a rhythm structure.
Be curious in exploring.

We will look at a grouping method.
This allows for a little opening for spontaneity while playing

Explore variations
Explore group combining
Explore spontaneously choosing while playing through prompts
We will look at weaving subdivisions
Ghost notes
Accents
Snaps and rolls
Drum to spontanesou singing
