Join the Institute of Design for a conversation with Dean Anijo Mathew and alumni Rodrigo Isasi, Joanne Mendel, Masha Safina, Stephanie Smith, and Martin Zabaleta as they share key takeaways from the 2025 Reclaiming Value: Sacred Valley Design Immersion.

Discover how ancestral wisdom, reciprocity, and adaptability from Peru’s Sacred Valley can reshape modern design practice—offering a rich, human-centered alternative to the dominant narratives of Silicon Valley.

This event invites alumni, students, and design professionals to explore new models of practice rooted in deep cultural engagement. Attendees will also get a preview of the 2026 immersion program. Join us to expand your perspective and rethink what design values.
