About this event

Join us for a free collaging workshop during the week of ArtWell's Poetry and Art Show!

Join the local student-led organization, Community Art Resource Education(CARE), and learn more about the art of collaging to reflect identity! In the workshop, attendees will learn to use cardboard, paper, and other supplies to create a cohesive mixed media display - including the creation and placement of bracelets, origami, traditional art, and lettering. The final product will be a take-home collage centered around specific features of the creator(s)' identities in relation to culture, life, and more.

This workshop will be held at The Galleries at Moore College of Art and Design during ArtWell's Poetry and Art Show: Reimagining Philadelphia. As you attend the collaging workshop, there will be time to take in the imaginative poetry and artwork created by K-12 students across Philadelphia.
