"Exploring Frankenstein And The World In Which Mary Shelley Created A Monster" is a talk to be given at Main Street Books by Alex Vollrath-Smith, who, with 14 years of editorial and publishing experience, is the owner, publisher, and editor of Vollrath Publishing, which in 2022 released a new annotated edition of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. In his presentation, Alex will discuss the rich web of cultural context and literary inspiration that surrounded the 19-year-old Shelley as she crafted the novel whose relevance continues to reverberate today.
