Artist Yori Seeger will take you through the artifacts of the Mastermyr Chest one by one, discuss history, use and show you how to make them.
Each week on Wednesday afternoon, Yori will meet you online with new tools, history and how-to's about what was discovered in the Viking Era Mastermyr Chest. This single chest was discovered off the coast of Sweden on the island of Gotland in 1936. Since then, it has sparked much research and fascination as it shares little known history of the daily lives of Viking Era Scandinavians.
Using the tools and artifacts from the chest as inspiration, Yori will discuss their use, how they were made, and even recreate them step by step! This is an ongoing opportunity to learn about Nordic history and keep its traditions alive.
