Experiments in Live Editing: Video Mixing Stop-Motion explores the possibilities of DIY hardware controls, such as classic gaming buttons, sliders, and joysticks, as mechanisms for live-editing animated films. During this 25-minute performance, puppeteer and filmmaker Zach Dorn will live-edit a version of his newest animated film with a custom built DIY video mixer. The video mixer, built specifically for film, utilizes analog movements to highlight the physical hands-on process of Dorn's stop-motion animation. Original music for the live event is composed by Domotic. Questions? Email infola@culturehub.org.
