ABOUT CATADOR ITINERANTE: Catador Itinerante is a locally based independent bottler focused on unique world whisky's. We will have the privilige to taste 4 expressions of the current collection.

A note from Pablo Goldbarg, CEO & Founder (and the only employee) of Cambridge-based independent bottler Catador Itinerante:

"I take pride in creating the first independent bottler dedicated exclusively to world whiskies, and I'm honored to be part of the "Independent Spirits" docuseries by Greg Swartz (The Water of Life).

My whisky journey has taken me from newbie to connoisseur and from collector to podcast host. While developing the idea behind my company, I managed to visit several distilleries on a transformational trip and tour a few Spanish-speaking countries with my whisky book “Supposedly Understanding Whisky”—the first in a planned trilogy.

I released my first two single casks in mid-2024 and couldn't be happier with them: bold, complex, and layered whiskies created with love and lots of time by an Austrian family that still wants us to believe Broger whiskies are just a hobby. The next two editions, released in February 2025, offer a more subtle, mellow and fragrant approach from a more established German distillery—Slyrs, actually a best-seller in Germany, though their single casks are extremely rare.

All these editions are cask strength, with no color added and non-chill-filtered. In our session, I'll share why I chose world whiskies, why I picked these particular casks, and why I'm immersing myself in a full-time job that may take years to bring profit. I can't wait to meet you, tell my story, taste great whiskies including one at hazmat proof, and take questions that I hope I'll have answers for. Heavy appetizers will be accompany your experience. We will be hosted by the fun and dynamic PKL located in Southie. Our menu will be sure to be delicious and will include:

• Brie & Manchego Mushroom and a Stuffed Veggie Mushroom
• Peach Glazed BBQ Ribs and a Pulled Pork Slider (Veg Option: Jackfruit and/or Jackfruit Slider)
• Brisket and Cornbread (Veg Option: Grilled Veggie Skewers)
• Brownie and Chocolate Pecan Pie Squares
