Experience Flamenco: Beginner Dance Class in NYC

Join us at El Barrio’s Artspace PS109 every Wednesday starting September 10th at 8:00 PM (ET) for a beginner-friendly flamenco drop-in class.

This class is open to all levels, whether it’s your first time dancing, trying a new dance style, or returning to flamenco. You’ll learn the fundamentals: footwork, arm movements, turns, and rhythmic hand clapping, all set to traditional Spanish flamenco music.

Taught by Candi Rodriguez, an emerging flamenco dancer who has trained under XBF for over 7 years. The class is relaxed, supportive, and focused on helping you move, express yourself, and learn the fundamentals of flamenco. No performance experience is needed, just bring comfortable, sturdy shoes and a willingness to try something new.
