Dance/Movement Workshop for Veterans and Guest

Movement to Contact engages veterans and their families in creative and community building through the art of choreography and movement. Veterans and their families will move alongside Exit12 Dance Company artists, who are also veterans and veteran family members, to create choreography using their own stories and experiences as inspiration.

Workshop leader Roman Baca is a veteran, dance artist and choreographer. In 2001, recognizing his desire to defend the vulnerable, he took a hiatus from dance and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps serving as a machine gunner and fire team leader in Fallujah, Iraq during the Iraq War.

No experience needed.

Free with advance registration for current and former military service members and a guest.

Veterans and their guests are invited to stay after for Stories of War, a performance by EXIT12 Dance Company.

No, but if you can bring a paper or digital copy of your ticket it expedites the check-in process!
