About this event
- Event lasts 1 hour
Learn about the brain and behavioral science of Executive Skills - what they are, how they develop, why they matter, and how they can help or hinder your progress towards your goals!
No matter your title, responsibilities, program structure, organization mission or goals, Executive Skills are applicable. Your workshop facilitators from Bright Path have experience designing and implementing Executive Skills-based coaching strategies since 2016 - you can learn more about this work via our umbrella organization, New Moms, here.
In this engaging, 1-hour introduction to Executive Skills you will join a group of peer nonprofit, philanthropic, social enterprise, and/or human service professionals to learn:
- Your own Executive Skills profile: your strengths and challenges, and how to strengthen your skills
- What are the 12 Executive Skills - how they develop based on our environments, genetics, experiences - and why they matter for your work, relationships, and goals
- How your Executive Skills can help you set, progress towards and achieve your goals - or hinder them - and what to do about it!
Executive Skills Coaching transformed New Moms' Job Training, Housing, and Family Support programs for young families, and we've worked with over 2,000 human service practitioners nationwide in the years since to provide training and consulting on Executive Skills Coaching. We believe deeply in the power of Executive Skills and its relevance for all programs and all populations, and are excited to share and learn alongside you.
Please note that this workshop will be interactive, engaging, and hosting virtually via Zoom. We encourage those who are able to plan to join the group with video on, as it encourages participation, limits distractions, and creates connection as we learn.
