Executive Functioning and Organization Skills for Individuals with DD
Overview
Registration opens at 9:00 am on 2/18/2026
These classes are open to everyone, including caregivers whose children are seen in DDBP, caregivers of children with developmental delays or disabilities not seen in DDBP, and professionals, providers, and educators who want to learn more about supporting youth with developmental delays or disabilities.
This 2-hour introductory class aims to help caregivers of children and adolescents with developmental delays or disabilities (DD) to understand how “executive functioning” skills play a role in their child's everyday decision-making and problem-solving. Caregivers learn strategies to support each child’s strengths and challenges when it comes to organization, time management, and memory.
Please note: As a variety of cognitive strategies are discussed, this class is designed primarily for caregivers of children ages 8 and older.
