Caregivers learn strategies to support each child’s strengths and challenges when it comes to organization, time management, and memory.

Registration opens at 9:00 am on 2/18/2026

These classes are open to everyone, including caregivers whose children are seen in DDBP, caregivers of children with developmental delays or disabilities not seen in DDBP, and professionals, providers, and educators who want to learn more about supporting youth with developmental delays or disabilities.

This 2-hour introductory class aims to help caregivers of children and adolescents with developmental delays or disabilities (DD) to understand how “executive functioning” skills play a role in their child's everyday decision-making and problem-solving. Caregivers learn strategies to support each child’s strengths and challenges when it comes to organization, time management, and memory.

Please note: As a variety of cognitive strategies are discussed, this class is designed primarily for caregivers of children ages 8 and older.

This class is delivered virtually via Zoom.

Cost: Free

Who: Parents/caregivers of children ages 8+ with developmental delay or disabilities (DD)

When: Wednesday, March 25th 2026
