PUBLIQ - Blockchain Distributed Media

PUBLIQ is reshaping the Media industry by enabling censorship free generation, selection and assessment of content. It offers a unique experience where the wealth generated is fairly and exclusively distributed to the network participants. PUBLIQ rebuilds trust in Media by empowering authors and readers to be part of a safe and impartial ecosystem.

POC: The blockchain powered author experience. The POC presentation will be using a blockchain framwework and sketch out the user experience of an author from the wallet creation, the post of an article and the follow up of the reputation. This is followed by an interactive Q&A session. 

The Media environment is currently shaped on the one hand by centralized institutions censoring a high portion of the contents and on the other hand by a massive flow of low quality user generated content. A significant over centralization subsists on a market where unfair remunerations and poor customer experience are constantly on the rise.

PUBLIQ is a blockchain-powered non profit foundation that places authors at the center of the publishing and digital media industry by offering them an efficient and reliable ecosystem to interact and thrive in. Authors have access to a free, secure and censorship resistant platform where they can upload their writings, protect them adequately within the latest blockchain architecture and have them thereafter safely distributed.  Intermediaries who used to dominate the author in his or her work, are removed from the chain of creation and distribution. 

PUBLIQ’s instant rewarding process encourages and incentivizes authors to share their talents with the world. Rewards are hence assigned to authors depending of their reputation exclusively shaped from the readers’ views and feedback. This unique evaluation system is allowing authors to be more fairly rewarded, as well as praised or celebrated for their good work 

Speaker Bio: Alexandre Tabbakh, CEO

Alexandre is a Fintech and Blockchain expert with deep knowledge on derivatives from his experiences at Société Générale and JP Morgan (Paris, Luxembourg and Hong Kong). He has been working with different Fintech startups building blockchain-based workflows and Proof-of-Concepts.

As a member of the Asia-Pacific blockchain network, he has delivered numerous talks about the growing blockchain economy and technology. Alexandre is currently CEO of PUBLIQ, a non profit foundation that pushes authors at the center of the publishing and digital media industry by offering them an efficient and reliable ecosystem to interact and thrive in. Alexandre graduated from ISC Paris Business School, and INSEAD.

Speaker Bio: Tigran Ghahramanyan, Software Engineer

Having background in Cosmology - Theoretical Physics from Yerevan Physics Institute, a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), in parallel specialized in Software Engineering, Tigran has an extensive experience with software development in electronics production test data analysis area, built a platform providing flexible access to huge production test data of customers such as Nvidia, Quallcomm, SanDisk, STMicroelectronics. Tigran has a strong cross-platform C++ experience and broad knowledge of technologies and programming languages in general. Tigran has built and designed distributed systems, and is now fully involved in the construction of PUBLIQ's unique blockchain infrastructure.

Antonio is a founder of The Blockchain Connector, a training and recruitment company focusing entirely on Blockchain technology. Antonio has 10 plus years experience working closely with global Investment Banks placing highly skilled eTrading Technology professionals. He brings with him an extensive network, ranging from mid to senior level technology and business professionals across the financial sector. Hands-on in winning new business, developing and managing on-going client relationships. Very successful in building repeat business based upon building strong relationship with clients and understanding their requirements. Antonio is an organiser of several Blockchain focused events in London aimed at software developers and business users.
