What is the date, time and location of the 2023 Exceptionally Festive Dance?

The 2023 Exceptionally Festive Dance will be held on Friday, December 1st, from 6-9pm, at Brookwood High School at 1255 Dogwood Road, Snellville, GA 30078.

How much does the dance cost?

Accepted Answer

The dance costs $8 per person which includes a pasta dinner, visit and photo op with Santa, and dancing.

How do I purchase tickets?

Accepted Answer

The easiest way to purchase tickets is through Eventbrite. However, I﻿f you would like to avoid Eventbrite fees, you may send in a check made payable to Exceptional Futures to P.O. Box 173, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. Checks must be received by our office NO LATER than November 27th to receive meals

When is the last date to purchase tickets?

Advanced tickets are required. To guarantee a meal, tickets must be purchase via Eventbrite, or checks received in our office NO LATER than Monday, Nov. 27th.

What are the meal choices for the dance?

Accepted Answer

Three types of pasta dinners will be available (catered by Eagles Landing): spaghetti with meat sauce, chicken alfredo, or veggie marinara. All meals include a cupcake from Special Kneads & Treats, and tea, lemonade or water.

Do I have to attend with my child?

Accepted Answer

ALL participants MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This is NOT a drop-and-go event. Everyone must purchase a ticket in advance.

When does Santa arrive?

Accepted Answer

Santa will arrive via MINI Cooper parade promptly at 6pm. We ask everyone to wait outside the front entrance to welcome Santa. Once Santa arrives, doors will open and the party will begin.

Question 8

If I didn't purchase my ticket by the November 27th deadline, will I get to eat?

Accepted Answer

Food is not guaranteed for tickets purchased after the November 27th deadline. If food is left after all valid ticket holders have eaten, we will be happy to serve you food after 7pm, however food is not guaranteed.

What do I wear to the Exceptionally Festive Dance?

Accepted Answer

We like to call it "Festive Attire." Basically this means please wear something special, but whether you dress formally or just dressy casual is up to you.

What if I purchase a ticket and later change my mind?

Accepted Answer

All sales are final and we are unable to provide refunds.

Is Exceptional Futures the same as The Exceptional Foundation of Atlanta?

Accepted Answer

The Exceptional Foundation of Atlanta, a local non-profit providing affordable day programs for adults with special needs, has a new name: Exceptional Futures. The new name more accurately describes the mission to secure a sustainable future for adults with disabilities.
