Join Explorer climate reporter Mike Lynch for a dynamic online panel exploring the future of electric vehicle charging in the Adirondack Park. Discover what's working, what's missing, and what comes next for EV infrastructure in the region.

In recent years, the state and EV charging companies have concentrated their efforts along the Northway corridor and in popular destinations like Lake Placid, Saranac Lake, and Lake George. The result? While tourists and through-travelers can charge with relative ease, smaller communities across the central, southern, and western reaches of the Park remain largely overlooked.

What will it take to bring reliable charging infrastructure to these remote areas? Does the Adirondack Park need a comprehensive, park-wide strategy—or is the current market-driven approach sufficient? Join us as our panelists tackle these critical questions about the future of electric mobility in the Adirondacks.

Panelists:
Nancy Bernstein, Adirondack North Country Association
Christine Pouch, Indian Lake economic development, marketing & events manager
Pete Nelson, EV owner and advocate
Jim McKenna, Co-chair of North Country Regional Economic Council
