Description:
This program will present the requirements for recording Injuries and illnesses as required by OSHA. The course will detail what constitutes first aid v. medical treatment. It will demonstrate the forms used to collect data and how they are used. Examples of various workplace injuries and illnesses will be presented highlight the importance of keeping good records. How to maintain the records and the requirements to have written documentation of programs such as light duty policy. The course will also discuss how to collect data, how to use the data and how to analyze the data once collected.
Course Objective:
The objective of the course is to train and educate attendees about the proper way to collect injury and illness data for the workplace; how to use and analyze the data; how to determine what information must be recorded and how to determine if your workplace is eligible or exempt from OSHA Injury and Illness Recordkeeping requirements.

- A discussion of filing reports, counting days away from work
- The importance of restricted work policies
- How to use the data collected
