Everything you need to know about beekeeping and honey production in CT

Join us for an interactive and hands-on experience focused on starting an apiary, the care of honey bees, and the art of honey production. Delve into the intricate yet fulfilling world of beekeeping here in Connecticut. This engaging class is conducted by Master Beekeeper Roger Dietz, who brings a wealth of expertise to the session. The class will start at the LEAF's apiary, which houses more than half a million bees. After, we will hike up the hill to the LEAF's historic cold storage building, where we will all gather to learn even more about these amazing creatures.
