Description

Join the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design on May 2 to welcome Tom Joyce to Hammer Auditorium! Tom Joyce is an artist, designer and 2003 MacArthur Fellow. His work is part of permanent collections in the Renwick Gallery, Boston Museum of Fine Art, and Yale University Art Gallery, among others. He is widely acknowledged as an expert in the field for his contributions to the art and science of forging iron.

Everything at Hand: An Evening with Tom Joyce in conversation with Richard Wattenmaker, art historian and former Director of the Archives of American Art is is made possible by the Dudley Lecture series. The series was established by the Dudley family in 1984 to commemorate Argentina Copello Dudley and, following in her footsteps, to underwrite fun, educational, and creative lectures.

Arrive at 6pm to enjoy a reception with beverages and light hors d'oeuvres prior to the 7pm lecture. We look forward to seeing you there!
