If an after-dark visit to the Mansion doesn't make you nervous (very, very dreadfully nervous), then you don't want to miss An Evening With Poe on Wednesday, Oct. 29 or Thursday, Oct. 30 from 7 to 9 p.m. Walk the halls and discover the Mansion’s secrets while hearing chilling tales from Edgar Allen Poe in each setting.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., so arrive early and purchase a drink from the cash bar in the Solarium as you prepare for a self-guided tour. Actors from The Station Theatre will begin performing the haunting poems and tales of Poe at 7 p.m.
$30/person. Registration will close Oct. 27 or when capacity is reached. All sales are final.
Complete your visit with an overnight stay in the Mansion or one of our guesthouses ($110/night + tax). View rooms here and book online or by calling 217-333-3287.
If you will need disability-related accommodations in order to participate, please email owarren@illinois.edu.
By attending, you consent to your image being used in Allerton marketing, social media and publications. Please alert the photographer or videographer if you do not want your image taken.
