Evening Under the Sphere - Benefiting the Alliance for Flushing Meadows Corona Park
With the backdrop of a fun and festive evening, filled with enthusiastic park supporters, guests will enjoy unlimited food and beverages from vendors from the Queens Night Market and dancing under the stars.
Some of our favorite Queens Night Market vendors will be there. In previous years, Evening Under the Sphere has featured cuisine from India, Italy, Trinidad, Jamaica, Argentina, Thailand, Mexico, Hawaii, Taiwan, Haiti and more!

A key highlight of the Evening Under the Sphere benefit is AFMCP’s Freedom of the Human Spirit Award that honors leaders in the Queens community for their achievements:
The ceremony will also see the third annual Claire Shulman Award for Public Service go to Jean Silva, an outstanding member of the Queens community who has demonstrated dedication to serving our borough.

The Evening Under the Sphere will take place rain or shine. If you are unable to attend, your ticket purchase can be converted into a 100% tax-deductible contribution, but no refunds will be offered. If the event is forced to be cancelled, you may choose to request a refund or convert your ticket to a contribution.*
