Eucharistic Ministry to the Isolated - Training Workshop

The Bring Jesus! Eucharistic outreach, coordinated by Catholic Charities Washtenaw County, is a regional apostolate to the isolated serving 17 care facilities, 2 hospitals, and 2 correctional facilities within the Ann Arbor Deanery.

Catholics from local parishes work together to meet the needs of those who cannot attend Mass, reminding them that they are not forgotten, that they belong, that Jesus is truly present to sustain and and bless them.

This free training workshop is not only for members of the Bring Jesus! team. There will be two training tracks, one for people new or wanting to learn more about bringing Eucharist to the isolated and one for people who are currently serving in this role or have had experience with bringing Holy Communion to others.

Coming to the workshop is not a commitment to joining the team. You may be simply investigating; you may be seeking training so that you can serve in another way, such as visiting the homebound members of your parish. You may want a refresher or update; you may simply want to connect with others who are serving the isolated in order to find support and inspiration. So if you feel a tug on your heart today, just take this one small step toward becoming a Eucharistic missionary or a better one, and sign up!
