Event description

Description

Claire Wilson (Claireabellemakes) will be delivering a workshop to help you launch your creative busines online with Etsy.com. Aimed at brand new sellers, the session will enable you to have your shop open within a day!

Etsy.com is a marketplace enabling sellers to sell handmade, vintage or craft supplies. Prior to attending this workshop, please check if your items are eligible to be sold on the platform via www.etsy.com/uk/legal/sellers.

After selling my designs on Etsy for over 5 years, I will be sharing my top tips and advice to enable you to learn about:

  • Opening your shop and getting set up on Etsy

  • How to list items and get found by shoppers

  • Photographing your work (practical session)

  • Packaging and Shipping

  • Marketing and Branding

We will also look at some successful Etsy shops from which you can view best practices and discuss as a group. The workshop will be a small group allowing one-to-one support and time to interact with the other course delegates.

The course fee also includes a light lunch/refreshments during a 1 hour break at the venue and access to a private Facebook group for advice. Later on, there will be an online Q&A session scheduled which you can opt to attend should you need additional support.

It is helpful if delegates can bring along a laptop or device they can access the internet on. It is expected that delegates will have some level of computer literacy (i.e. use of internet, email etc). A small amout of preparatory work is required before the workshop which will be detailed after booking.
