Dates & Topics:

October 29: Developing Data Concepts and Statistical Thinking.

Objectives include defining and exploring the concept of mathematical identity, considering its impact on students, and exploring its connection to mathematical agency and success.

November 19: Whole Number Concepts and Operations.

Objectives include defining analytical thinking in mathematics, exploring the NCTM's Mathematics Teaching Framework, and applying learning to HQIM.

December 10: Developing Fraction Concepts and Operations.

Objectives include unpacking what a meaningful math experience looks, sounds, and feels like, and exploring the relationships between algorithms and deepening mathematical understanding.

January 27, 2026: Developing Early Algebraic Concepts and Reasoning.
