JCCC faculty member Lisa Markley, MS, RDN and her co-author, Jill Grunewald, HNC, will demonstrate recipes from their recently released “The Essential Thyroid Cookbook: Over 100 Nourishing Recipes for Thriving with Hypothyroidism and Hashimoto’s.” They will also discuss nutrition and its relationship to thyroid health and share recipe samples from their Amazon Best Selling cookbook with the audience.
Join them at 12p.m. Thursday, January 25th in the Wysong Family Culinary Theatre in Wylie Hospitality and Culinary Academy (WHCA 145). The recipes will be especially helpful for those fighting hypothyroidism or Hashimoto’s disease, though anyone who's interested in nutrition and wellness may attend and benefit from this free public event.
