Overview

Have a latte to say? Share your story, speech, poem in this long form, open mic during a generous 15 minute time slot.

“Expresso Yourself” is an inclusive speech and storytelling cooperative where members are encouraged to express themselves on a wide range of topics, share their stories, and inspire others. Our culture is based on respect, creativity, and open dialogue. This is a cozy, welcoming venue, perfect for newer speakers looking for a warm, supportive intro, or mor experienced speakers working to perfect new works.

Open to participants of all backgrounds, and skill levels. We welcome stories, speeches, long form poetry (or a bunch of short ones!), even clean comedy. All content must align with the group’s inclusive and respectful values.

Speakers are allowed a maximum of 15 minutes with a brief feedback session between speakers. All participants and audience members are expected to act respectfully toward others at events and in group discussions.
