Stand Up for PCL is a yearly stand-up comedy event organized by Parents for Community Living KW. In the Waterloo Region, hundreds of adults and children with developmental disabilities are on lengthy waitlists for critical services. The demand is overwhelming and the wait list continues to grow each year. Many people with disabilities face desperate circumstances and their needs are urgent. Parents for Community Living (PCL) plays a vital role in providing services to many people in our community and we are the ‘go to’ agency when it comes to assisting with crisis placements. But, they have limited space and resources and these events contribute to their efforts in our region.
