Do I have to stay for the entire time?

No, you can come at any time between 5:30pm and 8:00pm and once you finish with your house you may leave.

Does it cost anything?

Each gingerbread house costs $10.00 per kit. You may bring your own kit in and custom decorations for the kit.

Do i have to keep it at the 4-H Office?

No, if you choose to take it home you may do so. house will be discarded the night of the holiday bake-off after awards.

Do I have to be in 4-H to participate?

It is strongly encouraged but not a requirement to be enrolled in 4-H to participate.

Can I pick a custom house to decorate?

House provided are first come fist serve. we will have a variety to select from but you may bring your own house kit to work on if desired.

Enjoy some sweet family fun with Escambia County 4-H in our annual Gingerbread House Building Workshop!

Join us for the annual Gingerbread House Building Workshop hosted by Escambia County 4-H. Enjoy plenty of family fun with some sweet crafts and festive décor. Afterwards you have the opportunity to enter your gingerbread house into the Holiday Bake-Off for a chance to get your name placed on the famous golden spoon.
