Errol Barron Book Signing at GDBS

Artist and Tulane University professor of architecture Errol Barron will be at The Garden District Book Shop on December 18 to sign copies of his latest book The Architecture of Painting. 

Through essays, excerpts from exhibition texts, paintings, and sketchbook drawings, Barron suggests ways in which architecture and painting reinforce one another.

The Architecture of Painting, which reproduces more than 100 of his paintings and drawings along with an essay and statements from several of his exhibitions, is the product of his belief that looking for the architectural aspects of a painting can lead to enhanced understanding of composition and meaning.  

Barron will be at the shop beginning at 6:00 PM. Books can be reserved ahead of time on Eventbrite.
