Equine Somatic Release with Julia Gabriel

Hello... My name is Julia Gabriel! My passion is the well-being of horses, and my hope is that by connecting with professionals in the Equine Industry, together we can make the world a better place for our equine clients and their human partners.

After more than a decade of working through dangerous situations with horses troubled by both physical & behavioral challenges, I discovered how to reach them safely and effectively with Equine Somatic Release. What often appears to be defiance, I found to actually be a protective reflex—a “lock” in the spine triggered by the pressure created when a horse is struggling to perform a task, whether the horse is evading or attempting to comply. This bracing disrupts movement, affects the nervous system, and eventually can show up as resistance, lameness, and unpredictable behavior.

Equine Somatic Release is a movement-based system that resolves physical and behavioral challenges by restoring functional biomechanics and parasympathethic biochemistry.

Equine Somatic Release focuses on the true source of resistance... disorganized coordination between the spine, fascia, and nervous system. By identifying and releasing these restrictions located at the base of the neck, withers, lumbar spine, and sacrum, the issue is resolved at its root, allowing the horse's nervous system to return to a state of homeostasis. When the spine unlocks, the whole horse changes!

The November 1st preview for Equine Professionals will be followed on November 2nd with an Equine Somatic Release Clinic designed for the general public, offered at a charge of $100.00 per horse registered and $30.00 for Auditors attending without a horse.
