Vous êtes invités pour le deuxième pique-nique franco à Mission. Cette année, venez partager un repas de maïs avec la communauté francophone et francophile offert par l'Associationo Francophone de la Vallée du Fraser en partenariat avec United Way.

Yes, there are two washrooms with water near the parking lot.

Is it wheel chair accessible?

Yes, the parking, the path and the covered area are paved and wheel chair accessible. Access to the lake can be done on a gravel and sloped path.

Is the location pet friendly?

Yes, you can bring you pet. It needs to be on a leash, supervised and cleaned up after.

Is the event free?

Yes, a meal per person is provided for free for people who have reserved their places.

Can we bring alcohol?

No, this event is alcohol-free

Can I come even if I don't speak French?

Of course! Everyone is welcome!

Is there a boat launch from Nielson park?

No, there isn't a boat launch at Nielson park but you can bring your paddle board or any floating equipement you can carry in your arms for 100m down and up the slope.

Can we swim in the lake at Nielson Park?

Yes, you can swim in the lake from Nielson park. Note that there will be no lifeguard on site and swimming and the use of the lake is at your own risk.
