Epistemia - Conoscenza, AI e Società

The Center for Data Science and Complexity for Society is pleased to announce EpistemIA — Conoscenza, AI e Società, taking place on 18 February 2026 at Sapienza University.

Digital platforms influence the circulation of information and the evolution of public debate, with broad societal implications. Understanding these dynamics requires data-driven research capable of connecting empirical evidence to concrete insights for society.

CDCS was created with this purpose: to study information flows, collective behaviour, and the growing role of AI through the tools of data science.

The event has been organised to deepen reflection on these transformations and to create a space for dialogue among institutions, researchers, platforms, and the broader public. Addressing the challenges posed by AI and the digital ecosystem requires collaboration and shared understanding.
