Lucy’s Children will host a lecture on epidemics and their impact on communities, particularly Communities of Color.

The noted public health researcher Dr. Robert Fullilove will address us on the realities of past and current conditions. In easy to understand language, this scientist will cut through the uneasiness, politicalization and disinformation of today. Squarely, our communities and nation are facing a health enemy that will neither go away nor remain the same as it moves through populations.

Once called COVID-19, it is now called COVID-Alpha. What is afoot is a new form, a variant, called COVID-Delta. It is not the last, it is simply the next.
